About Us: Tokyo Academics is an organization of teachers, researchers, and academics dedicated to helping students reach their potential and prepare for future opportunities through online education. Responsibilities: - Conduct virtual lessons for students preparing for TOEFL and English vocabulary exams. - Prepare lessons before class and conduct 30-minute one-on-one sessions with students. - Address student needs and questions during and after classes and write progress reports. - Communicate scheduling and performance updates with clients. Requirements: - Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills. - Experience in teaching academic English is a plus. - Familiarity with online teaching and basic proficiency in Skype, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite. - A bachelor's degree is preferred. Work Hours: - Must be available from 4 PM to 10 PM JST, especially during peak hours from 7 PM to 9 PM JST. Benefits: - Flexible work hours. Minimum of two hours per day commitment. - Access to teaching materials and comprehensive training. - Guaranteed monthly pay based on assigned regular students.
